Stay at home Moms THANK GOD EVERY DAY!!

Its been a while. I have been CRAZY BUSY!! But with not much to say. I am working all the time. I just got a new job as a Home health aid/caregiver for elderly people. I do light cleaning, cooking, drs appts, whatever they need help with. Its not a glamorous job but I had to find a job that had better hours and better PAY! I can work days now and weekends off.But these past two weeks I have been working both at the hotel and there. It has been really hard working and being away from my girls but working nights and weekends was worse. I enrolled both girls in a small Christian preschool. Alex loves it and that makes me happy, but its KILLS me to leave Lilli. But at least now I can pick them up and be home with them every night and on the weekends. A more normal routine. Hopefully once Lou is finished with school I can go to part time and eventually stay at home again. I give a lot of respect to working mothers but I still feel unless you have too staying at home is the BEST!! As much as I am guilt ridden all the time for having to leave them hopefully if its two years of the 18 they are at home that won't be so bad!!
It was very important to Lou to get our of Navy and go to school so this year we are all sacrificing for him but he deserves it. He has sacrificed a lot for us! We are going to the zoo tomorrow after church. I am really excited because they are having a coupon day $5 a person!!!
When your broke COUPON days are AWESOME! I can't to just spend the whole day with my fam! This whole transition has been such a learning experience in whats important in life and how to find the blessing around you no matter what your going through. Well God Bless to all and hopefully I will write sooner next time.

Oour home in HOMEY

I FINALLY GOT MY HOUSEHOLD GOODIES!!!! To all non military I am talking about everything that ever belonged in my home in Italy is now in Florida.!! It was a adventure trying to fit boxes that were taken from a three br 2 story house and fit all of them into a one story 2br duplex :>) But we managed. We have gotten a lot decorated and it looks so great! All our treasures from our travels are such a comfort. Its a constant reminder of all the amazing places we were blessed to see. We maybe taking it easy on international travels right now but we will end up around the word somewhere again. Right now we are going to do things easy on the budget and visit a lot of the natural parks of FL. There are so many beautiful springs and river right in our back yard!

GREEN LIVING!!!

Another night at work. Work is still going well. Lou and I have decided I will go back to school next year full time. He will be done with his school in June and then I am going to start in August. I am thinking of going for either Marine Bio. ,Biology,Or Environmental Sciences. I recently joined the National Sierra Club and attended my local chapter meeting. I was one of two people under 40 but it was still really GREAT!! We watched a movie on the destruction of our Coral Reefs and how RED TIDE can harm our local area. The main problem being lawn FERTILIZERS.They said to try not to fertilize at all but if you must not during rainy season because it runs off right into the ocean. Which then feeds the algae and creates abnormal blooms which kill EVERYTHING!!! They said our number one agricultural crop in my county is LAWN GRASS!!!!
Lucky for me I have : 1 a small yard and 2 A huge oak that shades my whole house and yard. I don't even have to water and I have very green lawn. Anyways I hope to start my herb with next month once the have some more FUNDS!

Working Again

Well I am back at work after 6 years!!! Its going a lot better then I thought but its still heart- wrenching to leave the girls. At least Lou and I have worked it out so they aren't in daycare and always with us or family.
I am working at a hotel where I meet lots of different kinds of people. It has made me really appreciate the few people I have had the chance to get to know in my life who I really connect with.
