GREEN LIVING!!!

Another night at work. Work is still going well. Lou and I have decided I will go back to school next year full time. He will be done with his school in June and then I am going to start in August. I am thinking of going for either Marine Bio. ,Biology,Or Environmental Sciences. I recently joined the National Sierra Club and attended my local chapter meeting. I was one of two people under 40 but it was still really GREAT!! We watched a movie on the destruction of our Coral Reefs and how RED TIDE can harm our local area. The main problem being lawn FERTILIZERS.They said to try not to fertilize at all but if you must not during rainy season because it runs off right into the ocean. Which then feeds the algae and creates abnormal blooms which kill EVERYTHING!!! They said our number one agricultural crop in my county is LAWN GRASS!!!!
Lucky for me I have : 1 a small yard and 2 A huge oak that shades my whole house and yard. I don't even have to water and I have very green lawn. Anyways I hope to start my herb with next month once the have some more FUNDS!

Hey Nat! Congrats on going back to school next year! That is awesome! :D i believe it about the lawn grass. We met Rachael's italian friends the other day who came over here, and were amazed at how green our neighborhood is. They kept bringing it up. We were like, "Yeah, we get in trouble if we don't keep it green." I don't think I ever fertilized our yard ever. I definitely won't now. :)
